9:01pm — This was another good, regular day. For the past month or so, I’ve been getting up early and instead of turning the TV on right away, I’ve been telling Alexa to play some Christmas music and then try to have a little quiet time. It’s been pretty nice so far. I’ve actually started READING again! The big problem is Coco! He almost immediately wants to go outside and starts whining and barking at me until I take him out. I try to make it until 8:30 and then take him for a fairly long walk and listen to a Charles Stanley sermon at the same time. Sometimes, I take him to the little dog park where he can do his business, and then make it back in time to watch Live with Kelly and Ryan and start working.

I really can’t complain about my job (or anything going on in my life right now!) We’ve got a new roommate her since early December, named John (not his real name. He is from Brazil and has a name that is unpronounceable, or so he thinks.) John is a follower of the Word of Faith movement and actually believes that guys like Kenneth Hagin, Joel Osteen, and Joyce Meyer are not only credible, but also orthodox! It has been driving me even further into studying the Bible in order to study such heresies as Jesus Died Spiritually (JDS).
